Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Disbursement Director is to provide leadership and direction to the A/P staff and oversee the disbursement activities required to support a supply chain consolidated service center.

In this role you will

  • Ensure all Sox Controls are in compliance and all policies and procedures which apply to any disbursement activity within the supply center are followed.

  • Approve payment of non-contract purchases up to pre-defined levels

  • Approve Vendor master file maintenance requirements to the centralized master file support group

  • Report any supplier or customer performance issues in accordance to the defined policies and procedures

  • Work with Corporate Finance, Treasury, Tax and Accounts Payable resources to ensure appropriate disbursement management and financial reporting

  • Work closely with purchasing manager ensuring invoice discrepancies are resolved timely and improve EDI usage

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Healthcare Administration preferred
  • 5 years of accounts payable experience management experience required.
  • Healthcare or related supply industry experience preferred
  • Prior experience managing projects, assessing work activities and allocates resources appropriately, overseeing the development, deployment and direction of complex programs and processes.
