Job Summary

  • Accountablefor managing and coordinating the communications and operations of theInformation Governance Program (IGP ) at HealthTrust
  • Planning andmanagement of initiatives within the HealthTrust IGP Service Framework
  • Developmentand implementation of metrics and measurement associated with the HealthTrust IGPgoals


  • Governance: Establish and lead the datastewardship governance structure to ensure data-driven business priorities areclear and are executed upon appropriately. Utilize this structure as anadvisory board to the IGP Council on investments and approaches to better dataquality and data integrity management across the enterprise. Work with teammembers as needed to further develop supporting tools and processes.
  • Information Strategy and Standards: Developframeworks and templates, working collaboratively with business and technologyteams to drive enterprise information standards, while leveraging existing andevolving industry standards (including participating and influencing externalstandards bodies as appropriate). Ensure that these enterprise standards are clearlyunderstood and effectively utilized across business processes and effectivelysupport the information strategy, including analytics and enterprise datawarehouse.
  • Portfolio Management & Planning: Work directly with business andtechnology project teams to incorporate governance task planning anddeliverables with established metrics that support enterprise investment in keydata assets.
  • Service & Project Management: Accountable forensuring the right information governance services are fully developed andmaintained in line with business need, with appropriate responses made to Voiceof the Process (VOP) and Voice of the Customer (VOC). Planning and managementof IGP tasks for the identified annual initiatives leveraging a matrixed teamof resources.
  • Quality, Risk & Compliance: Responsible for working with appropriateteams in the organization to ensure critical data management practices arecompliant with internal HealthTrust security, risk management policies andpractices.  
  • People Management – Accountable for management of small staff.  Abilityto effectively leverage a matrix organization, including technology partnersand business process owners.

Job Requirements

College degree required
Strong relevant experience (data management, stewardship, governance, etc.)
Relationship management experience, with strong influencing and communicationskills at senior leadership levels
Track record in successful project delivery and service management. PMPcertification desirable.
Track record in delivering business impact through clearly defined valuationmodels
Experience in relevant GPO operations and process areas is desirable
