Facilitator, Learning &Development

Job Summary:
The learning anddevelopment, facilitator is responsible for coordination and delivery of trainingsolutions to include, but not limited to, basic to advanced leadershipdevelopment, change management, operational excellence, organizational and teameffectiveness and other related topics to enhance leadership and organizationalperformance. As a member of the learning & development team, this positionwill develop outlines, course content, train-the-trainer guides and participantworkbooks as well as facilitate live and virtual courses across the supplychain divisions.

Duties:

  • Facilitatetraining programs for supply chain learning & development programs.
  • Design,develop, and implement training programs that integrate adult learning theory,interactive activities, simulations, job aids and include competency-basedevaluations (reaction, learning and application/behavior).
  • Workcollaboratively with director, peers and team members to assess existinglearning and development curricula and offerings and compare/contrast withimmediate, short and long-term business needs, strategic goals, and othertargets and metrics.
  • Continuallyassesses and analyzes development needs for gaps to provide creative andinnovative solutions and coaching sessions.
  • Evaluateeffectiveness of training and performance of staff using evaluation/assessmentmethodologies.
  • Partnerwith corporate and division leadership teams and subject matter experts toimprove on-the-job training content/activities.
  • Applyinsights and learning to best understand immediate, medium and longer-termlearning and development needs for assigned responsibilities.
  • Preparedetailed action plans for training sessions to include agenda, audience,timelines, learning objectives and outcomes, and education content and handoutmaterials. Review plans with internal stakeholders to ensure collectiveleadership input and alignment.
  • Makea concerted effort to stay abreast of supply chain operations and organizational/industry changes that may impact employees.
  • Review/assessexisting learning and development offerings versus new, extended or enhancedopportunities.
  • Partnerwith director to evaluate training impact and results, and share data withleadership teams for feedback and potential enhancements to programs.
  • Coachand mentor subject matter experts on best practices for delivering trainingprocesses and information, and program participants in need of furtherdirection or learning reinforcement.
  • Communicatetraining events, results, and opportunities to supply chain enterprise toengage employees in the learning and development 


Job Requirements

Experience:
  • Minimumof 5 years of experience facilitating small and large groups of employees atall different levels.
  • Experience in the design, development and implementation of formal trainingprograms and events.
  • Experience in a “matrix reporting” environment preferred.
  • Proven track record for meeting or exceeding business objectives and goals.
  • MS office, Sharepoint, and learning management system proficiency.

 
Certificate / License:   
  • Certified training facilitator or curriculum design certification
