  • Seeking a full-time Operating Room Materials Manager whodemonstrates passion for running Supply Chain operations in the facility’soperating room suite to include requisitioning, inventory controls, and supplyoptimization.
  • Individual who exhibits strong leadership in guiding his/herteam with accuracy in case picking, delivering timely services, and settinghigh department performance standards.        Successfullymanages the Operating Room Meditech supply inventory dictionary and physicianpreference cards.
  • Effectively cultivates relationships with physicians,clinicians and hospital vendors.

The skills and knowledge needed to provide such care maybe gained through education, training or experience. Age Groups: Birth - 1 year(infant), 1 - 11 years (pediatric), 12 - 16 years (preschooler), 17 - 64 years(adult), 65 – Life Span (geriatric)
  • Graduate fromSurgical Technology program and/or equivalent clinical training 
  • Minimumof five years of relevant clinical and/or materials experience may besubstituted for education above.

PHYSICALDEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS Requiressome bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination andmanual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone,calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing andeyesight to record, prepare and communicate reports. Requires lifting papers orboxes up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in an office environment.Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upsetpeople. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistancefor any/all disaster or emergency situations.
