Job Summary

In this role you will lead the Facility Infrastructure Advisory Board (“FIAB”) to gain member alignment and support of the Facility Infrastructure Solutions (FIS) sourcing process. You will also be responsible for managing a team of FIS advisors who assist internal team members (i.e. department staff responsible for managing design, construction, facility operations, purchasing, etc.), external teams members (i.e. architects, design engineers, contractors, etc.), and HealthTrust team members to educate, communicate, implement, and track utilization of the HealthTrust FIS contract portfolio.


Duties:

  • Build and maintain relationships with senior construction and facility management leaders within the group purchasing membership in order to better understand industry trends, best in class strategies, quality suppliers, and secure approval of proposed HealthTrust Agreements
  • Cultivate relationships with suppliers in order to assist in the implementation of new agreements and gain insight in how to enhance existing agreements
  • Prepare and deliver executive level presentations and communications as necessary to support the understanding of the portfolio and sourcing activities
  • Identify standardization opportunities and provide subject matter expertise to assist members with their construction programs
  • Develop and support implementation programs, including tracking member spend on projects
  • Work with HealthTrust facility team and members to develop evaluation criteria to measure performance of agreements, processes, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with HealthTrust Account Management Team to continuously increase the value provided to the members and suppliers

Job Requirements

Education

  • A Bachelor’sdegree in a building sciences area is required (i. e. engineering, building constructionmanagement, architecture, or business with facility management experience)
  • A Master’s Degree is preferred

Experience

  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in an architecture, engineering,construction, or facility management role is required, preferably in the healthcareindustry
  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience in project management, with aproven track record of driving collaboration in a fast-paced team environment is required
Certificate/License:
  • Professionalcertification in the architecture, engineering, construction, or facility managementfields, preferably in the healthcare industry
