Job Summary

Accountable for managing and coordinating the communications and operations of the Information Governance Program (IGP ) at HealthTrust for BI reporting and data management teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Governance: Responsible for leading HealthTrust business teams to deliver information governance projects that span across multiple business units. Projects include creation of data standards for the EDW and self-service analytics, developing HealthTrust term definitions, deploying the enterprise glossary, developing a framework for reporting/visualization tool selection, developing and coordinating user training on data and tools. Facilitate Governance Council and Stewardship/Advisory meetings as needed. Responsibilities also include management of risk and compliance, quality, BI development, and people management to ensure successful and on-timeprojectdelivery.
  • Risk and compliance: Responsible for development of HealthTrust information policy(s) as needed, implementation of BI templates and data/work flow process. Responsible for working with appropriate teams within the organization to ensure critical data management practices are compliant with internal HealthTrust security, information policies and practices.
  • Quality: Responsible for coordinating report certification documentation and report development standards that include an inventory of BI dashboards developed for multiple business units and data quality reports developed by business data owners.
  • BI development: Responsible for collaborating with business report developers and manager(s) to develop project schedules and specific deliverables to ensure successful delivery of commitments as needed. Coordinate cross-team dependencies for self-service analytics and support business needs by attending and participating in the meetings with BI working groups.
  • People Management – Accountable for management of small staff. Ability to leverage a matrix organization, including collaboration with technology partners, business process owners, data owners, and leadership as needed.

Job Requirements

  • College degree required
  • PMP certification desirable
  • Strong relevant experience (data management, stewardship, governance, healthcare, etc.)
  • Experience in GPO operations and/or supply-chain is required. Related experience or equivalent education will be considered
  • Experience in BI development and/or SDLC agile methodologies preferred.
  • Relationship management experience, with strong influencing and communication skills at senior leadership levels
  • Record of accomplishment in successful project delivery and service management delivering business impact through clearly defined valuation models
