JOB TITLE –Inventory/Implant Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY OFDUTIES –The Inventory/Implant Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing allwarehouse inventories, while achieving the company’s inventory service levelgoals. The Inventory/Implant Manager is responsible in training personnel onall inventory handling and overseeing workflow and warehouse functionssurrounding inventory and implant supplies. The Inventory Manager isresponsible for the hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of theInventory Analyst and Implant Coordinator.

SUPERVISES – Inventory Analyst andImplant Coordinator

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARENOT LIMITED TO:

•Maintainaccurate inventory levels with an emphasis on service levels and inventoryturns.

•Utilizesystem reports and knowledge of warehouse activities to maintain accurateinventory records Assist with warehouse functions as needed

•Ensurethat all inventory policies are being followed by all employees Daily Chargeverification and report any discrepancies to finance Provide training to allInventory Analysts and Implant Coordinators

•Communicateall significant inventory information to the Warehousing & LogisticsManager and Supply Chain Management to help facilitate shortage detection

•Facilitateexcess inventory reduction by returning excess products to vendors timely

•Evaluateinventory levels, making adjustments to inventory min/max levels, safety stock,lead time, and inventory formulas to ensure sufficient supply to meetcustomers’ needs while maintaining targeted inventory turns

•Workto minimize non-moving or slow moving inventory SKU’s

•Workto minimize inventory write-off’s due to expired or obsolete inventory Work toensure warehouse achieves inventory metric goals

•AssistWarehouse Logistics Manager in preparing warehouse Key Performance Indicatorreport.

•Interfacewith and propose solutions to the Chief Operating Officer and Warehousing &Logistics Manager regarding all issues related to inventory

•Ensureall implant inventory is tracked according to our policy and procedures

•Reviewand analyze all changes to product conversions, deletions and additions todetermine impact on inventory requirements

•Identifyand analyze product trends by supplier and by SKU Assist with GSO’s (GeneralStore Orders) as needed

•Assistin product recalls as needed

•AssistPurchasing and Accounts Payable staff in researching discrepancies as neededManage effective communication with customers, co-workers, and other teammembers Ensure Cycle Counts are performed and assist when needed

•Supervisephysical inventory counts during semi-annual inventory Prepare and conductannual performance reviews for employees Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

•HighSchool Diploma or GED required

•Associatesor Bachelors degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration or similar preferred.

EXPERIENCE

•3to 5 years of material management distribution experience or equivalentrequired. Med/Surg distribution experience preferred
