Job Description

A division of HealthTrust,  AdvantageTrust ( provides non-acute care members — ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, long-term care and alternate care sites — access to the same contracts HealthTrust has negotiated for its larger hospital members, presenting the information in a way that is relevant to facilities outside a hospital setting.
Job Summary – The Account Manager is primarily responsible for account management activities as well as supporting sales and business development efforts within the AdvantageTrust program.   This position coordinates and ensures timely and successful onboarding of new members, equity owners, IDN partners and key member groups; maintains strong, long-lasting member relationships; and supports sales and new business development duties.  The Account Manager closely collaborates with the AdvantageTrust team to collectively identify, develop and implement a variety of compliance, marketing and business development strategies.
Duties (included but not limited to):
  • Develop and deliver on-line and in-person presentations to new and prospective AdvantageTrust members.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from prospective AdvantageTrust members
  • Coordinate with the AT Financial Analyst to complete any pricing analyses required to bring on  new members
  • Collaborate with members to maximize their savings through use of the AdvantageTrust portfolio and enhance contract compliance.
  • Coordinate the implementation and onboarding process for new members
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with AdvantageTrust members including equity owners, key IDN partners and key member groups
  • Occasionally attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry meetings in order to engender interest in the AdvantageTrust program and add new facilities as members.

Job Requirements

College graduate preferred. 
Two to five years sales, business development and/or account management experience.  Experience in healthcare—particularly with healthcare group purchasing is a plus.  Experience working with physicians, surgery centers and long term care facilities is a plus.
