THE POSITION:


Seekinga full-time Administrative Assistant who is responsible to providesadministrative support to ensure efficient operation.  Supports Senior Leadership team through avariety of tasks related to organization, communication and administrativefunctions. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Ability toeffectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties arecompleted accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals adequately.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONREQUIREMENTS:
  • Threeyears of secretarial experience including one year in a health careorganization required
  • Relevanteducation may substitute experience requirement
  • High schooldiploma or GED required
  • Associate’sdegree in business administration or completion of secretarial programpreferred
 
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping andstretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient tooperate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare andcommunicate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 50 poundsoccasionally. May be exposed to toxic/caustic/chemicals/detergents. Work isperformed in an office, and in the pharmacy and hospital environment. Work maybe stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people.Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance forany/all disaster or emergency situations.
