Assistant Director of Supply Chain Operations
 
JOBSUMMARY
 
TheAssistant Director of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for the dailyoperations of all functions assigned by the Supply Chain Director within thefacility. Assists in integrating the department’s services with the hospital’sprimary functions, develops/implements policies and procedures that guide orsupport service, assesses and improves department performance, and ensuresorientation and continuing education of departmental staff as assigned. Theyserve as a key promoter of the Supply Chain Service Center, which strives tomeet and exceed the needs of its customers.
 

  • Coordinate, manage, and evaluate facilitySupply Chain personnel
  • Determines staff qualifications and competence.Develops and maintains accurate initial and annual competency checklists, andinitiates completion of initial and annual competency attestation forms
  • Create a supportive environment for supplychain staff development and the delivery of supply chain solutions
  • Manage the profit and loss of the facilitySupply Chain operations
  • Execute the infrastructure project plan for thefacility. This includes the implementation of the standardization Facilitatethe standardization of products and optimize supply utilization througheffective collaboration with Physicians and clinicians
  • Manage the facility implementation plan,identify and mitigate risks (leverage lessons learned, utilize proactivecommunication techniques), and monitor resource allocations to ensuresuccessful execution of plan
  • Execute the Supply Chain PerformanceMeasurement plan at the facility and report these results to the Director ofSupply Chain Operations in an accurate and timely manner
  • Actively seeks ways to control costs withoutcompromising patient safety, quality of care of the services delivered

 
 

 
 
 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or similar is required
  • Minimum of three years hospital management experience required
