Job Summary – Interfaces directly with Providers to improve their supply chain processes, increase cost savings, and create repeatable processes.  Provides timely, accurate, and professional support to Supply Chain consulting teams to meet client’s needs for each consulting engagement.  Works closely with clients to collect and analyze all required spend, utilization data, and contract terms to identify cost savings.  Contributes to and leads work streams for engagements demonstrating the value of inSight Advisory solutions through improved productivity and decreased supply chain costs.  Additionally, this resource will document savings and identify incremental process improvement opportunities. 
Minimum 50% travel required
Duties (included but not limited to)
  • This role primarily serves as an associate consulting role to assess, design, and deliver operational improvement services, which includes the ability to:
  • Retrieve, review, process, and analyze demographic, clinical, and financial data provided by clients for consulting engagements
  • Prepare statistical and financial reports as required
  • Complete high level assessment of client spend to identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Direct client collection of qualitative and quantitative data to assess current processes, benchmark against best practice metrics, and quantify improvement opportunities
  • Develop process improvement plans to address the identified opportunities
  • Assist with preparation of client meeting agendas and presentations
  • Assist with scheduling/coordination of client calls and meetings
  • Lead client discussions and meetings to present analysis and facilitate client decision making in order to select improvement tactics
  • Create solutions to client problems and monitor engagement progress
  • Create and review analysis, work plans, and other deliverables
  • Engage subject matter experts for best demonstrated practices and apply them to client projects
  • Prepare Monthly Operating Report to be presented to AVP, VP of Consulting, and other leadership

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with healthcare supply chain or healthcare industry experience. Preferred 2 years supply chain consulting experience.
