THE POSITION:
  • Seeking a full-time Clinical Resource Director whodemonstrates passion for building a clinically integrated supply chainoperation at respective facility. Individual who exhibits self-motivatedcuriosity toward continuous improvement in supply expense and clinicalutilization, supported through solid analysis and clinical evidence. 
  • Demonstrates a critical mindset toward appropriatelyquestioning and analyzing alternatives to the status quo.
THE LOCATION:
St. Lucie Medical Center- Port St, Lucie County FL
  • Fort Pierce is home to Heathcote Botanical Gardens whichhouses the nation’s largest collection of tropical bonsai trees in the James J.Smith Bonsai Gallery.
  • The city is home to New York Mets spring training, the St.Lucie Mets Florida State League team and the Mets rookie level team in the GulfCoast League.

 Supply Chain Management:
  • Contributes to the developmentof the Supply Expense Plan, and executes specific initiatives within the Planby developing and completing specific action steps/processes, and communicatingto appropriate stakeholders
  • Utilizes technology and othertools to analyze supply spend and make recommendations or take action toachieve results
  • Assists in monitoring supplyexpense performance, contributing to Monthly Operations Review reports, andinterpret data 
Developing andAligning Talent:
  • Supports leadership and staffdevelopment strategies and plans, HR and Education initiatives 
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree required(Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy or other Allied HealthProfession)
  • Will consider a graduate of aProfessional School of Nursing with related experiences in healthcare valueanalysis, clinical supply chain, or acute care hospital performance improvement
  • Master’s degree highlypreferred
  • Demonstrated passion forcontinued, lifelong learning
 
EXPERIENCE
  • Clinical/healthcareexperience, minimum of 2 years
  • Acute care setting preferred
  • Patient care experience highlypreferred
  • Experience with computerskills for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Progressive experiencedemonstrating ability to accomplish objectives through a multi-disciplinaryteam.
  • Experience managing multipleprojects simultaneously, and demonstrated personal time management/projectprioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated passion forbuilding a clinically integrated supply chain.
 
CERTIFICATE / LICENSE
  • Appropriate for education level
  • LPN/RN, Certified Materials and Resource Professional(CMRP), Certified Value Analysis Health Professional (CVAHP), or similarcredential preferred 
PHYSICALDEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONSWork is performed in a normal office environment andin some cases on nursing units or in other acute care settings. Requiressitting for long periods of time. Requires hand-eye coordination and manualdexterity sufficient to operate a telephone, keyboard, calculator, and otheroffice equipment. Work is often performed under stressful situations. Sometravel required.
