JOBSUMMARY – Responsible for providing analytical and contract support to the HCAContracting Team and the HCA Division Supply Chain Teams.

Thisindividual is responsible for coordinating, formulating, executing, andimplementing the necessary spend/cost reports that are required by the HCADivision Supply Chain Teams and the HCA Contracting Team.  This includes supply expense and compliancereports, savings reports, inventory reports and other reports asrequested.  In addition, this role isresponsible for data mining and analysis needs to evaluate product use trends,utilization, new technology and other relevant data elements that are importantto our supply cost agenda and goals. Finally, this role will be responsible for providing support to the HCADivision Supply Chain Teams and the HCA Contracting Team for contract documentfinalization, managing the loading of products and pricing, coordinatingefforts and review with our legal team.

Position'skey area of focus will be sourcing initiatives that are primarily categorieswith medium to high spend, complexity, risk and sensitivity.  Position may have some responsibility forother types of categories for the purposes of development and workloadallocation.
Individualis experienced at data gathering and familiar with system access and navigation.  Strong skills required for data accuracy andcompleteness.  Individual must be able touse best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues toimprove data integrity and reporting output. Individual exercises judgment in selecting and/or adapting methods forobtaining solutions - taking a new perspective on using existing solutions tosolve for complex problems. 
Individualdemonstrates a strong proficiency for understanding contract terms and workingwith legal professionals to complete contract and amendment documents.

Job Requirements

  •  AccreditedCollege Bachelor's Degree required (Supply Chain, Healthcare, Business,Finance)
  • 3-5 yearsin specialized profession or equivalent. Ideal candidate will have experiencein data analysis and reporting as well as some experience with contractfinalization.
  • Supplychain operations is preferred
  • Healthcareknowledge is preferred
