Job Summary

The Cost Analyst will perform detailed, comprehensiveanalysis of healthcare supply chain spend. Develops, revises andeffectively communicates analytical summaries to identify cost savingsopportunities, contract compliance, price parity issues, standardization andutilization opportunities. The analystwill have the ability to acquire, assimilate and analyze data from multiplesystems and data sources utilizing a variety of business intelligence andreporting tools.

  • Work collaborativelywith HealthTrust team and assigned member(s) to provide analysis, summaries,reports and presentations as assigned.
  • Identify and trackapproved savings initiatives.


Job Requirements

Education andExperience

  • Bachelor’sdegree in Business, Accounting,Statistics, Technology or related field, work experience may be considered inlieu of bachelor’s degree.
  • 3-5 years related work experience as a data, business orfinancial analyst.
  • Exposure and familiarity with multiple technology platforms.
  • Medical productknowledge preferred.
  • Experience withlarge data sets strongly preferred.
  • Healthcare supply chain/GPO knowledge and healthcarepurchasing or analytics experience preferred.
