Job Summary
This positionis responsible for delivering HealthTrust Capital Equipment Services toassigned member(s). 
Thisindividual will have responsibility for the member’s capital equipment process,including:  Budgeting, Planning,Acquisition, Management and Disposition. 
Responsibilitiesinclude developing and executing innovative capital equipment strategies thatdeliver significant and measureable financial and operational value tomember(s).  The individual must establishobjectives and develop and execute operational plans and strategies. 
Thisindividual will receive guidance from Senior and/or Executive Leaders.
Duties (included but not limited to):
  • Develop,execute, and support the capital process (including routine capital as well asconstruction/renovation and clinical initiatives (e.g. surgical initiatives)).
  • Prepareand analyze capital budgets.
  • Understandmember’s capital inventory and develop end-of-life/ replacement plans as wellas service/maintenance strategies.
  • Reviewservice/maintenance contracts and ensure service/maintenance strategies aredeployed correctly.
  • Communicateand collaborate effectively with all levels in the organization, including butnot limited to:  clinicians, physicians,supply chain, materials management.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Investigate, act, and communicate on capital issues.
  • Developand execute opportunities to improve operations. 
  • Collaborates with member to drive contract compliance.
  • Resolve off-contract issues/exceptions.
  • Develop and execute opportunities to drive cost-savings.
  • Develop and execute bulk buy strategies, or participation in HealthTrust Group Buy program.
  • Exceedcost-savings goals established in annual work plan.
ProjectManagement and Communication:
  • Collaborate with the member to take full-advantage of the GPO portfolio – including the evaluation of standardization opportunities.  This may entail mini-RFPs and negotiation of standardization opportunities in collaboration with GPO sourcing team.
  • Collaborate with GPO Sourcing team on national contracting activities (e.g. identifying new technology or new category opportunities.
  • Communicating standard processes and policies, best practices, progress reporting, and issue review/resolution;
  • Ensuringcompletion of deliverables and adherence to timelines

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • Typically7-10 years of related healthcare or industry experience
