Job Summary –

TheClinical Operations team is responsible for HealthTrust’s Clinical AdvisoryBoards. The Clinical Advisory Boardsconsist of clinical leaders from various healthcare systems and are a criticalpart of HealthTrust’s contracting process.The boards exist to ensure clinical input into the contract portfolio,perform product evaluations as necessary, and support the implementation ofcontracts within their health system.Boards exist in the areas of Nursing, Surgery, Radiology, Cardiology,Laboratory, Information Technology, and various specialty committees.

DUTIES (included but not limitedto) –
  • Worksto ensure board vacancies are filled timely and members are on boardedappropriately, including communication to appropriate IDN contacts and SupplyChain Board members.
  • Develop,plan, and coordination of sourcing and educational activities for conferencecalls and meetings.
  • Identifyand plan for Supplier presentations at advisory board meetings; review contentprior to presentations.
  • Ensurethat advisory board members participate in votes, document timely, and shareresults with sourcing team.
  • Timelyreview, approval, and sharing of advisory board minutes from calls andmeetings.
  • Workwith sourcing team to develop a robust contract launch package, includingClinical Award Summary.
  • Workwith sourcing team and supplier for review of item adds, deletes, anddiscontinues.
  • Workwith sourcing team and advisory board members to understand and address anyproduct recalls that may impact our members.
  • Servingas a resource of scientifically valid information and advice on the best use ofmedical technologies.
  • Providing active clinical support and interactionwith contracting teams, global sourcing team, and other HealthTrustdepartments.
  • Managingthe Advisory Board budget.

Job Requirements

Thiswould be a great opportunity for a Lab Director who is looking for the nextstep in their career. This role requires a clinically focused Bachelor ofScience degree, with a Master’s degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have5 years Laboratory leadership experience with strong team member participationhistory. The candidate must currently maintain licensure/credentials in his/herclinical specialty.
