Job Summary

This position will lead a team of analysts that will provide all reporting, analytics, data requests and coordinated information requests for all HCA Divisions and Corporate HCA related to HCA’s sourcing and contracting efforts. This role works closely with our sourcing/contracting service line and regional teams to ensure the development and execution on division, regional or HCA national agreements and that these efforts are fully supported with the appropriate data, information and analysis. This role works closely on a team of professionals including Contract Sr. Directors, Contract Directors, Contract Managers, Contract Analysts, Financial Analysts, and other technical and subject matter experts. This role is integral in helping to execute on key sourcing and contracting strategies. Other aspects of this role include:
  • Work with HCA Senior Directors of Contracting, Healthtrust GPO, specific target vendors, etc. to identify new contracting opportunities and to maximize cost reductions for existing Division/Regional and National Contracts.
  • Analyze and implement best practices, policies and procedures across HCA Contracting.
  • Coordinate, communicate and share intelligence with other service line and regional contracting teams to assist and improve upon cost savings opportunities and to minimize redundancies or duplication of efforts.
  • Establishes team objectives, priorities, work efforts, directs team operations and contributes to overall team strategies and processes to accomplish.
  • Decisions are guided by strategic and operational objectives established by HCA Contracting Leadership.
  • Receives guidance from Senior and/or Executive Leaders.

Job Requirements

Education andExperience
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 5-7 years of related healthcare or industry experience to include in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of healthcare economics
  • Analytics and Information Management in Healthcare preferred
