JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Operations team is responsible for HealthTrust’sClinical Advisory Boards.  The ClinicalAdvisory Boards consist of clinical leaders from various healthcare systems andare a critical part of HealthTrust’s contracting process.  The boards exist to ensure clinical inputinto the contract portfolio, perform product evaluations as necessary, andsupport the implementation of contracts within their health system.  Boards exist in the areas of Nursing, Surgery,Radiology, Cardiology, Laboratory, Information Technology, and variousspecialty committees.

DUTIES (included but not limited to) –  

  • Works to ensure board vacancies arefilled timely and members are on boarded appropriately, including communicationto appropriate IDN contacts and Supply Chain Board members.
  • Develop, plan, and coordinate ofsourcing and educational activities at conference calls and meetings.
  • Identify and plan for Supplierpresentations at advisory board meetings; review content prior topresentations.
  • Ensure thatadvisory board members participate in votes, document timely, and share resultswith sourcing team.
  • Timelyreview, approval, and sharing of advisory board minutes from calls andmeetings.
  • Work withsourcing team to develop a robust contract launch package, including ClinicalAward Summary.
  • Work with sourcing team and supplier forreview of item adds, deletes, and discontinues.
  • Work with sourcing team and advisoryboard members to understand and address any product recalls that may impact ourmembers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 5 years Perioperative leadershipexperience and practice history required. 
  • Strong Team Member participation historyand experience with team structure and team dynamics preferred.
  • Current andunrestricted RN license in the State of Tennessee (or a compact multistatelicense)
  • Operating Room Certificate, preferred
