Job Summary

Position is responsible for support of business development strategy and execution focused on the HealthTrust/CoreTrust Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) program, which has 165 member companies and $3B in annual spend under management. This includes support for prospects, members, and other key constituents (e.g., Channel Partners).

Must be willing to travel 20-30% of time

In this role, you will:

  • Work with leadership to manage pipeline of prospects across the sales cycle (including introduction, deeper review, final engagement support, cross-line integration)
  • Support execution of HR strategic plan
  • Participate on workgroups evaluating new potential HR categories and considerations
  • Engage with channel partners and Private Equity liaisons as needed, providing enhanced client service and support
  • Support outreach to targeted new business opportunities, pipeline growth
  • Conduct market research for prospecting or business development tool-related efforts
  • Support development, and ongoing management of Advisory Board, including group events, training/CE and other touch points
  • Develop materials to support business development activities

Job Requirements

Education andExperience
  • Bachelor’s degree in either math, science, business, marketing, health administration or related field required; Master’s a plus.
  • 8 years minimum of previous experience in pharmacy benefits, HR consulting, business development, sales operations and/or management roles.
  • Requires experience building relationships with HR buyers (benefits manager, VPHR, etc.) key. Working knowledge of broader HR subject matter with some area(s) of more technical expertise considered a plus.
  • Understanding of key attributes of pharmacy benefits (plan design, formulary, PBM role).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel required.
  • Professional certification (ASA/FSA, MBA, RPh, PharmD, Insurance Licensure) a plus but not required.
