JOB SUMMARY – The CPG Sales Director isa quota bearing sales executive responsible for growing contract revenue acrossboth new and existing members.  In fullalignment with the VP Sales, the Sales Director will prospect within namedPrivate Equity portfolios and certain independent accounts to sign new membersand generate new business opportunities, while assisting with assigned Account Managementand up-selling/expanding revenue across existing members.   Therewill be a focus on a certain number of top accounts. The Sales Director roleworks in collaboration with and support of the VP Sales but will be capable ofmanaging senior member relationships and complex sales initiatives.
DUTIES (included but not limited to) –  

  • AccountManagement: Manages a team whose duties consist of account management,including documentation tracking, member implementation, and on boarding withvendors.
  • Reporting:oversee the preparation of necessary data and reports.  Review and analyze for accuracy and outcomesneeded.  Provide strategies aroundachieving desired results.
  • Identify,suggest and lead implementation of specific programs, best practices,standards, operational indicators and products & services to support thelong-range strategic direction of the organization.
  • ColleagueManagement & Development: provide direct supervision to assigned AccountManagers or Sales Coordinator(s). Responsible for the recruitment, development and supervision ofcolleagues.  Provides leadershipnecessary to maintain a motivated, productive and competent team through opencommunication and delegation of responsibilities and authority.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’sdegree preferred but equivalent experience acceptable.
  • Preferably 7– 10 years of experience in strategic sales
