Job Summary – Supports the assigned contracting teams and Senior Financial Analysts in all financial respects for sourcing events. Works both independently and collaboratively to provide various financial and savings/opportunity analyses for HealthTrust clients.  This includes preparing market share data, analyzing vendor proposals and preparing detailed data for financial analysis.
Duties (included but not limited to):
  • Accurate and timely savings and opportunity analysis of vendor pricing proposals
  • Data cleansing and analysis of purchase histories obtained through Requests for Information and internal data sources
  • Support Sourcing team throughout vendor negotiations
  • Effective communication of results to finance and sourcing team leads
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of detailed pricing files as related to contracting projects
  • Evaluate price and product amendments to purchasing agreements
  • Development of methodologies for performing financial and opportunity analysis of proposals and improving processes
  • Ad Hoc requests from management
  • Ongoing financial assistance as it relates to the management of purchasing agreements
  • Interacts daily with both internal and external individuals
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business.
3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong experience in MS Excel is required and experience preferred using various analytical/BI tools
