Job Summary - Supports contracting teams in all financial aspects.  Works independently to provide financial analyses related to purchasing agreement projects.  This includes analyzing vendor proposals, market share data, and fully loaded supply/equipment/service cost.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate and timely financial analysis of vendor pricing proposals
  • Effective communication of analysis results to contract management
  • Ongoing financial assistance as it relates to the management of purchasing agreements
  • Preparation of Request for Proposal documents. Vendor financial statement and due diligence reviews
  • Duties (included but not limited to):
  • Opportunity analysis of product proposals including value enhancement and impact analysis for recommending tactical solutions
  • Composing financial memos summarizing project valuations
  • Evaluation of price and product amendments to purchasing agreements
  • Data analysis of vendor purchase history
  • Development of methodologies for performing financial and opportunity analysis of proposals
  • Market share data analysis
  • Ad hoc requests from management
  • Interacts daily with both internal and external individuals

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business.
1-3 years of relevant experience including financial or related analysis. Proficiency in MS Excel is required and MS Access experience preferred.
