Job Summary – Supports the Clinical Education organization by working under moderate guidance and direction to provide financial analyses related to education projects. This includes organizing and preparing financial and operational data for analysis, reviewing operational metrics data for accuracy, and ensuring management reports are accurate. 
Duties (included but not limited to):
  • Ensures accurate and timely preparation and processing of all financial reports and records related to the Clinical Education organization
  • Supports Accounting Manager in all financial reporting and accounting responsibilities according to company policy
  • Prepares detailed monthly budget variance reports to support center management in the review of operational performance and cost allocations
  • Continue to enhance business intelligence by utilizing new enterprise tools for creating reporting and analytics that meet customer needs
  • Monitor and maintain key operational and supply expense performance measures
  • Work with appropriate leadership teams to understand, develop, and communicating operational and expense data requests/reports
  • Interpret and present data for decision-making needs                                         
  • Recommend to leadership areas of improvement and assist in driving results
  • Identifying and resolving data issues
  • Understanding of methodologies for performing financial and opportunity analysis of proposals
  • Provides assistance to all management staff related to the performance of financial management matters
  • Interacts daily with both internal and external individuals as a first line responder to customer requests for custom reports, report enhancements, or data interpretation. A willingness to become a subject matter expert in interpreting clinical education initiative performance measures is a must
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting
2 -3 years of related experience, including financial analysis and heavy attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
