Job Summary –The Supply Chain Analytics intern will be responsible for leverage existingreports and data resources to analyze business problems, actively participatingin multiple aspects of the BI lifecycle, from requirement collection to dataanalysis, specific to the development of reports within Supply Chain FinancialOperations.  Requiring technicalawareness, an understanding of business processes, and a self-startermentality, this analytically-focused position is responsible for theinterpretation of information systems used to serve the business and to drivesupply expense savings. The position ensures a standardized and consistentapproach is taken, relating to BI reporting, data governance, and analytics.  The intern will participate in agile executionof the product lifecycle, support the development of solutions and ensurequality of delivered products.
 
Duties (includedbut not limited to):

  • Participatein all aspects of the BI lifecycle from requirement collection to dataanalysis, report creation, and understanding of business processes.
  • Buildknowledge and assists in the execution of the appropriate strategies, plans,tools, and approaches to ensure successful development of BI reports,dashboards, and scorecards.
  • Generate,format, interpret, and prepare reports, scorecards, and dashboards to supportbusiness owners and team objectives.
  • Withdirection and supervision, provide in depth “what if” analysis of data usingavailable tools.
  • Understanddata in order to develop and design reports.
  • Present datainformally and facilitate discussions regarding data outputs.
  • Collaboratewith other internal team members to integrate solutions where additional datais required.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’sDegree desired but not required.
SQLexperience with understanding of relational database systems required.
Analysisexperience with BI Reporting projects preferred.
Experiencewith Teradata and SQL Server is desired.
Experience inan Agile BI Reporting development environment highly desirable.
Experienceusing BI Discovery oriented tools is highly desired.
Familiaritywith BI tool architectures, functions, and features desired.
