Job Description

Cath Lab Supply Chain Technician 
Job Summary – The Cath Lab Supply Chain Technician is responsible for promptly puttingaway all supplies within the Cath Lab, reviewing and maintaining all Min/Maxinventory levels, as well as emergency supply requests. The Cath Lab SupplyChain Technician is also responsible for conducting physical inventories of allPOU areas according to the defined schedule.

Key Interactions – Cath Laband/or Interventional Radiology clinical staff and physicians, Cath Lab and/or
Interventional Radiology Director, facility leadership, Supply ChainDirector, Supply Chain Technicians, Clinical Resource Director, ConsolidatedService Center staff and leadership 
Duties (included but not limited to):
•       Receive,deliver, and put‐away of all Cath Lab supplies in an accurate and timely manner, anddeliver to appropriate department(s), and perform QA random checks on totes perapproved policy
•       Performsinventory management for the Cath Lab. Evaluates the appropriate Min/Maxlevels, reviews Min/Max for storeroom stock daily. Count par level areas (POUareas) according to schedule.  Processes returns appropriately perapproved policy.
•       Ifapplicable, ensure POU items have the appropriate barcodes, ensure items arecross referenced in Optiflex, rotate stock to ensure no items are out of date,react appropriately to POU “critical point” messages and stock outs, provideassistance to the POU Station personnel as well as provide assistance withproblems, questions and concerns
•       Worksflexible, rotating shifts when required
•       Practiceand adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and ValueStatement”
•       Otherduties as assigned

Thisposition requires the following minimal requirements:

•       Basicskills – able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcilefigures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately
•       Workingknowledge of hospital supplies
•       Highschool diploma or GED is required  
•       Previousstock clerk experience is helpful. Some hospital supply experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS – Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stoopingand stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficientto operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other officeequipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare andcommunicate appropriate reports. Must be able to exert up to 50 lbs. of forceand 50 lbs. of force frequently to move objects, and lifting papers or boxes upto 50 lbs. frequently. Work may be performed in an office, patient care areas,as well as, a stockroom/supply room environment. Work may be stressful attimes. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Staff mustremain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/alldisaster or emergency situations.
OSHACATEGORY – The normal work routine involves noexposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues (although situations can be imaginedor hypothesized under which anyone, anywhere, might encounter potentialexposure to body fluids). Persons who perform these duties are not called uponas part of their employment to perform or assist in emergency care or firstaid, or to be potentially exposed in some other way.
