THE POSITION:
  • Seeking a full-time Stock Associate/Facility Supply ChainOperating Room Technician who demonstrates a passion for accurately pickingsupplies for surgical cases and any emergent requests in a time-sensitive manner.
  • Individual who takes pride in monitoring levels of suppliesand conducting inventory checks for replenishment with a high standard ofaccuracy.
  • Enjoys a fast-paced work environment that is physicallyactive.
  • Effectively stays on task, interacts with facility teammembers in a professional manner, and supports an efficient workflow within theOperating Room Supply Chain Department.

EDUCATION
  • High schooldiploma or GED is required
 
EXPERIENCE
  • Previous stockclerk experience is helpful. Some hospital supply experience preferred.

PHYSICALDEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONSMust be able to stand and walk for long periods of time;sitting for short periods of time. Requires ability to push and pull a varietyof carts and material handling equipment. Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel,bend, stretch and reach frequently. Must be able to make substantial movementsof the wrists, hands, and fingers. Requires eye-hand coordination and manualdexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator,and other office equipment. Requires ability to touch and differentiatetextures and temperatures. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight torecord, prepare, and communicate reports through written and verbal means. Mustbe able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds. Work may be performed in anoffice, patient care areas, as well as, a stockroom/supply room environment.Work may be stressful at times. Staff must remain flexible and available toprovide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.
