Job Summary –The Associate Information Analyst supports Vendor & Item Master DataManagement in the collection and validation of item data within theorganization. Ensures item master data integrity in key systems as well asmaintaining processes to support overall master data quality.
Duties(included but not limited to):
- Work ininternal data management tools to create and maintain data quality for itemmaster data.
- Responsiblefor validating item information contributed to Item Data Management from multiplesources and business groups, including internal, external and 3rdparty sources.
- Defines anduses data queries for research and analysis.
- Maintainsuser confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Supportsproject progress by tracking activity; resolving problems.
- Demonstratean understanding of the data maintenance impact upon sourcing, spend analyticsand business process operations
- Interactsextensively with external and internal customers/departments/companies.
- Provides dataanalysis integral to creating the comprehensive business intelligence that willinform business practices, problem solving, and decision-making.
- Helps toimprove current systems and applications by studying current practices; assistsin designing modifications; testing new functionality.
- Supports SeniorInformation Analyst and Supervisor of Master Data Management.
Job Requirements
CollegeDegree preferred or relative work experienceMust haveexperience in data querying and reporting.
Must haveexperience in data analysis in healthcare industry.
