Job Summary – The Lead Analyst of Information Management will be managing projects related to master data management and attribute enrichment to support analytics, data quality initiatives, supply chain operations, GPO Operations and data services to our members.

Duties (included but not limited to):

  • Leads efforts for data requirements and data analysis for master data management team.
  • Develops data quality metrics and other actionable reports to support data management operational teams. Focused on developing visibility to data quality issues, evaluate business process improvements and implementing data management best practices.
  • Supports gathering business requirements and facilitate discussions with business SMEs to understand needs and drive process improvements.
  • Preforms in-depth data analysis to identify opportunities to improve overall quality and enrich content within enterprise data platforms: Item Master, Vendor Master and Categorization.
  • Formulate data management techniques for quality data collection to ensure completeness, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
  • Identifies and suggests process improvements where needed and provide input on new technology related to improve business process efficiencies.
  • Works with business and technology teams to assist in designing new systems and applications for business by analyzing requirements, studying system capabilities, writing specifications and testing new applications.
  • Supports data analysis and quality testing for new reference data acquired and managed by Master Data Management team. Includes assessment and management of 3rd party data providers.
  • Provides insights to enable Master Data Management team standardize key Item master, Vendor Master, UOMs and other core data attributes.
  • Recommends controls by identifying problems with timely resolution and write improved procedures.
  • Defines and manages project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements.
  • Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.
  • Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Interacts with external and internal customers/departments/companies as directed by supervisor.
  • Maintains professional and/or technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and online classes.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Collaborates with other HealthTrust departments to analyze and complete ad-hoc data projects and requests.
  • Additional Information Management responsibilities–
  • Serve as primary contact for GHX vendor and associated processes critical to Information Management, coordinating with internal teams including TI as needed.
  • Serve as primary contact for 3rd Party Data Pool vendor. Manage project communication, track milestones, escalate issues and identify mitigation strategy.



Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience
Candidate must have 3-5 years experience in data management and analysis, including data mining and reporting. Preferably in the Healthcare Supply Chain industry.
