JOB SUMMARY
TheSupply Chain Learning & Development Manager is responsible for implementinglearning and development programs to meet the strategic goals of theorganization. This involves a broad understanding of the supply chainoperations to translate functional core processes, workflows, and activitiesinto quality education resources for new hires and process improvements. Thisposition works closely with diverse business teams to produce standardized andsustainable operational manuals, guides, and educational assets for theenterprise.
 
DUTIES(included but not limited to) –  

  • Design,develop, and implement core content to support Operational Excellence educationand resources for supply chain enterprise. This includes but is not limited toinstructional materials for traditional instructor-led courses, onlineprograms, web-based learning aids or products, evaluation methods and otherprograms as needed.
  • Developeducation materials based on key success metrics and information provided bysubject matter experts and instructors.
  • Recommendchanges to existing courses, including technology or instructional methods tobetter adhere to delivery options.
  • Applyinstructional design principles to translate operational concepts, workflows,process changes, and best practices into valuable learning content/assets forSupply Chain stakeholders.
  • SupportDirector of Learning and Development with education implementations.
  • Manageand maintain standardized Learning & Development manuals, guides, andassets as designed.
  • Collaboratewith Supply Chain business owners on operational and system projects to defineand build transformation and change capabilities across the Supply Chainenterprise.
  • Communicatetraining events, results, and opportunities to supply chain enterprise toengage employees in the learning and development
  • PromoteSupply Chain University (SCU) for continued learning and development.
  • Activelyseek feedback from internal stakeholders to keep communications open andtimely.
  • ManageSummer Work Experience (SWE) Intern Program for corporate supply chain team.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’sdegree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Certified training facilitator or curriculum design certificationpreferred but not required
  • 5 years of work experience in relevant field
  • Experience in the design, development and implementation of curriculumcontent, live and virtual training, and technical guides, manuals, documents.
  • Experience in a “matrix reporting” environment preferred.
  • MS Office, SharePoint, and Learning Management System proficiency
