SupplyChain O.R. Internal Control Coordinator 
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES - Responsible forbuilding, implementing and maintaining all supply chain system activitieswithin the O.R. Directly responsible for maintaining Meditech O.R. preferencecards and the Meditech O.R. Dictionaries with respect to supplies.  Clearly communicates changes and aidswith education to appropriate personnel in regards to preference card supplychanges and new supply items.  Participateswith the O.R.’s physical inventory counts.   
SUPERVISOR – Supply Chain O.R. Material Manager 


INTERACTIONS– O.R. Material Manager, O.R. Supply ChainTechnicians, OR Director, O.R. Analyst, O.R. Nurses, SCD, CRM, Surgeons,Revenue Integrity Nurse, CSC Internal Control Team 
•       Clean up and maintenance of supplyinventory on existing preference cards and creation of new preference cards inconjunction with the OR Analysts 
•       Clean up and maintenance of MeditechO.R. Inventory Dictionary, including building all supply items, entering allnew supply items into Meditech and requesting new supply items in SMART system 
•       Maintains crosswalk and other masterfile synchronization between Meditech O.R., POU Technology and SMART system 
•       Works with Clinical Resource Manager(CRM) and O.R. Material Manager on all O.R. Supply Cost management projects,including physical inventory counts 
•       Works with O.R. Clinical ServiceCoordinators and O.R. Analyst to ensure accurate building, modification andsynchronization of Meditech physician preference cards and InventoryDictionaries 
•       Maintains effective communication withcustomers, CRMs, O.R. Nurses, Revenue Integrity Nurse, O.R. Directors and thefacility management team 
•       Practice and adhere to the “Code ofConduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement” 
•       Other duties as assigned

•       Knowledge of Meditech O.R. Module andSmart a plus 
•       Demonstrates effective problem-solvingskills, and demonstrates comprehensive job knowledge. 
•       High School Diploma or equivalent isrequired
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKINGCONDITIONS – Mustbe able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Requires ability to pushand pull a variety of carts and material handling equipment. Must be able toclimb, stoop, kneel, and reach. Must be able to make substantial movements ofthe wrists, hands, and fingers. Must be able to hear, see, and communicatethrough written and verbal means. Requires ability to touch and differentiatetextures and temperatures. Must be able to exert up to 75 pounds of forceand/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 50 pounds of forceconstantly to move objects. Work is performed in a warehouse, hospital, andvehicle environment.
