Seeking afull-time Centralized OrderEntry Pharmacist who demonstrates a passion for patient carerelated to the monitoring, evaluating and making recommendations to assure theappropriate and effective use of pharmaceuticals. 
  • Demonstrate knowledge and mastery of required job functions, internal communications and operating systems
  • Prepare written or oral report at change of shift to communicate incomplete assignments and potential patient safety concerns to monitor in order to ensure continuity of medication therapy
  • Accurately enter orders in the computer in a timely manner and ensure facility procedures are followed. 
  • Sets priorities, exercises professional judgment, makes critical decisions, and quickly responds to client needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or PharmD from an ACPE (Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education) School of Pharmacy. 
  • Current Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy. 
  • Min 1 year Pharmacy experience in a hospital setting highly preferred.
  • Meditech experience preferred
