Job Summary –

Responsible for the implementation and management of education programs for assigned supply chain operations. Responsible for the identification of division training needs and development, coordination, and delivery of educational programs for all supply chain personnel within the assigned supply chain operations. Training needs to include operational education (systems, policies and procedures, root cause analysis, etc.), performance and competency development trainings, and leadership and management training programs.


Duties (included but not limited to):
  • Conduct annual Training Needs Assessment for all designated supply chain employees.
  • Develop, socialize, and implement a comprehensive annual education and development plan for designated divisions.
  • Regularly monitor, update, and communicate training and development programs.
  • Apply adult learning concepts when delivering educational programs.
  • Teach classes, assist other instructors, and/or coordinate outside instructors in a classroom and work setting.
  • Utilize available standardized courses and instructor evaluation processes to the extent possible, or develop new courses as necessary.
  • Plan and conduct staff and management development training programs, including conducting annual education needs assessment, preparation of program objectives, development of course materials and training aids, delivering workshops and evaluating program effectiveness.
  • Utilize a training database to track competencies and skills for all supply chain personnel (from staff to senior leadership).
  • Assist with the Ethics & Compliance training.
  • Provide training to Parallon third-party customers, as applicable.
  • Manage the Associate Director of Supply Chain (ADSC) Program recruiting; curriculum; participant rotations, education activities, document collection, tracking, and graduate process; and facility SCD Ambassador training for designated divisions.
  • Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement".

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education or related field.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 4 – 5 years of training, development and delivery experience required (including instructional design, adult learning principles, large group presentations, and technology-based education). Distance learning experiences preferred.


• American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) certification (or similar) a plus
