Job Summary –The Sr. Information Analyst will support the Cross Reference Team byidentifying, participating, and managing projects related to cross referencedata within Business Solutions to provide high quality analytics to internaland external customers.
Duties(included but not limited to):

  • Identifiesopportunities for improving cross reference data and process improvements.
  • Provides andaudits cross reference content and data quality reporting to management.
  • Assists inmanagement and distribution of work for the team.
  • Monitors teamprogress by tracking activity; resolving problems; assisting in publishingprogress reports; recommending actions to management.
  • Provides dataanalysis for multiple business groups both internal and external as directed bymanager.
  • Defines anduses data queries for research and analysis.
  • Helps toimprove current systems and applications by studying current practices; assistsin designing modifications; testing new functionality.
  • Maintainsuser confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Providessupport and interacts with external and internalcustomers/departments/companies as directed by manager.
  • Maintainssystem protocols by writing and updating procedures.
  • Helps determineoperational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information;evaluating output requirements and formats.
  • Defines andmanages project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, andelements; forming project team if applicable.
  • Supportsproject progress by tracking activity; resolving problems.
  • Supportsportfolio team by identifying incorrectly cross referenced items using clinicalknowledge, regularly meeting to proactively identify gaps, improve cross reference data, and provide significantinput to assist with projects.
  • Supportssourcing team by being involved with a sourcing event from the beginning toinclude data pulls, clinical review, providing oversight and/or collectingcross reference information to closing the loop at the end to include clinicalreview, loading into cross reference tool, and formatting.
  • Collect,format, research product specifications by utilizing product knowledge, andupload new and existing cross-reference items from multiple sources internaland external.
  • Use productknowledge to cross check current and future cross reference data by working within the cross reference queue todetermine if crosses are clinically sound.
  • Participate in discussionand provide input toward development of tools that enhance and maintain crossreference data.
  • Build andmaintain business relationships with vendors by working together to obtain crossreferences for items that do not currently have an equivalency.
  • Contribute totriaging and maintaining cross reference inbox by taking ownership of requests forcross-reference information in a timely manner.
  • Maintainsprofessional and/or technical knowledge by attending educational workshops andonline classes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent.
  • Must have 2-3 yearsexperience in master data management and analysis, including data querying, andreporting preferably in Healthcare field  
  • Formal clinical education and/or experience insurgical field required.
