Job Summary

Responsible for analytic support, project management and other business development-related activities related to the HealthTrust’s pharmacy programs with the intent of broadening reporting and analytic capabilities of the department, including PBM program (which has 165 member companies and $3B in annual spend under management) and Pharmacy GPO (which represents about 1,600 hospitals and 33,000 other provider sites around the US). In this role, you will:
  • Work with pharmacy teams to develop tools which support and/or streamline business development activities at HealthTrust, CoreTrust.
  • Work with large pharmaceutical data sets to synthesize information, analyze anomalies and report out on opportunities
  • Manage larger projects which require involvement from multiple parties, manage deadlines and report out on progress, activities, feedback loop (e.g., 2023 Pharmacy Strategy)
  • Development of sales enablement capabilities, including tools for prospecting of current categories, and new category launches
  • Support efforts to introduce capabilities to prospective members and engage with business development resources at various HR vendors
  • Develop dynamic reporting to support business development and reporting needs
  • Conduct market research for prospecting or business development tool-related efforts

Job Requirements

Education andExperience
  • Bachelor’s degree in either math, science, business, marketing, health administration or a related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ previous experience in analytics, business development or sales operations.
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships and working collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MSAccess.
  • Specific working knowledge of pharmacy claims and purchase data fields and meanings; knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturer landscape and related issues a plus
