THE POSITION:
As the DDCP, reporting to the Division Director of Pharmacy, you will lead clinical pharmacy activities within HCA facilities for the HealthTrust Mountain Division located in Kaysville, Utah, to include execution of the following deliverables:  clinical initiatives that impact drug utilization, clinical education and staff development, management of appropriate drug utilization, drug spend analysis, and quality improvement programs.
•         You will partner with facility Directors of Pharmacy, Corporate Quality Department, and Facility Clinical Coordinators/Pharmacists;
•         Develop and oversee standardized clinical pharmacy program for division/facilities;
•         Develop annual clinical pharmacy business plan in conjunction with clinical pharmacy group that ensures positive patient outcomes and appropriate drug utilization;
•         Analyze drug spend trends to identify areas of opportunity and implement appropriate use/development of protocols and guidelines;
•         Oversight/guidance regarding JCAHO, CMS, NQSF and FDA standards.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
•         Demonstrated experience forming relationships and maintaining professional partnerships with key stakeholders;
•         Pharm.D. required;
•         Residency Training or BCPS certification preferred;
•         5-10 years experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in a hospital setting;
•         Current Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy;                                                                                    
•         Previous experience as a clinical coordinator or director in large, complex facility preferred.
