Job Description

Job Summary – Responsible for leading, implementing, measuring, anddirecting all supply related Supply Chain activities within the Cath Lab and/orInterventional Radiology.
 
Key Interactions – Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology clinicalstaff and physicians, Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology Director,facility leadership, Supply Chain Director, Supply Chain Technicians, ClinicalResource Director, Consolidated Service Center staff and leadership
 
Essential Duties &Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
  • Responsible fordaily Supply Chain Operations in the Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology
  • Responsible forimplementation of Supply Chain policies, procedures and best practices withinthe Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology Department
  • Manage theimplementation, utilization, and maintenance of perpetual inventory system(POU) to ensure accurate capture of replenishment and patient chargetransactions
  • Supervises theon-site processing, inventory availability of all supply orders and stockinglocations
  • Works withClinical Resource Director (CRD) on all Cath Lab and/or InterventionalRadiology Supply Cost Management projects
  • Serves as CathLab and/or Interventional Radiology point of contact for sales representativesand overall vendor management
  • Maintainseffective communication with parties listed within interactions section above
  • Is authorized totransport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media anddrug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position
  • Practice andadhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Minimumof five years of relevant clinical and/or materials experience may besubstituted for education above.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS – Requires some bending, stooping and stretching.Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate akeyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare andcommunicate reports.
