  • Seeking a full-time SuplyChain O.R. Internal Control who demonstrates a passion for building and maintainingall supply chains system activities within the operating room.
  • Directly responsible formaintaining Meditech O.R. preference cards and the Meditech O.R. Dictionarieswith respect to supplies. Clearly communicates changes and aids with educationto appropriate personnel in regards to preference card, supply changes and newsupply items. Participates with the O.R.’s physical inventory
  • Works with Clinical ResourceManager (CRM) and O.R. Material Manager on all O.R. Supply Cost management projects,including physical inventory counts.
  • Clean up and maintenance ofMeditech O.R. Inventory Dictionary, including building all supply items,entering all new supply items into Meditech and requesting new supply items inSMART system
  • Maintains crosswalk and othermaster file synchronization between Meditech O.R., POU Technology and SMARTsystem
  • Works with Clinical ResourceManager (CRM) and O.R. Material Manager on all O.R. Supply Cost management projects,including physical inventory counts.

The skills and knowledge needed to provide such care maybe gained through
education,training or experience. Age Groups: Birth - 1 year (infant), 1 - 11years (pediatric), 12 - 16 years (preschooler), 17 - 64 years (adult), 65 –Life Span (geriatric) 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required 
  • Graduate from Surgical Technology program and/or equivalentclinical training preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical/materials experience O.R.experience preferred

PHYSICALDEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONSMust be able to stand and walk for long periods of time;sitting for short periods of time. Requires ability to push and pull a varietyof carts and material handling equipment. Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel,bend, stretch and reach frequently. Must be able to make substantial movementsof the wrists, hands, and fingers. Requires eye-hand coordination and manualdexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator,and other office equipment. Requires ability to touch and differentiatetextures and temperatures. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight torecord, prepare, and communicate reports through written and verbal means. Mustbe able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds. Work may be performed in anoffice, patient care areas, as well as, a stockroom/supply room environment.Work may be stressful at times. Staff must remain flexible and available toprovide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.
