THE POSITION:
  • Seeking a temporary Director of Supply ChainOperations who drives efforts to enable supply improvement initiatives withinrespective facility.
  • Individual who facilitates the standardizationof products and optimizes supply utilization. Enjoys collaborating with physicians and clinicians.
  • Actively seeks ways to control costs withoutcompromising patient safety as well as quality of care and services delivered.
  • Executes operational plan for all hospitalpoint-of-use systems and supplypurchases at the facility.

East Florida SupplyChain Division – Miramar, FL

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degreein Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or similar isrequired 
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of threeyears hospital management experience required 
PHYSICALDEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching.Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate akeyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicatereports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 50 pounds occasionally. May beexposed to toxic/caustic/chemicals/detergents. Work is performed in an office,and in the pharmacy and hospital environment. Work may be stressful at times.Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Staff must remainflexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster oremergency situations.
