Job Summary

Directly responsible for the development andongoing administration of all customer-facing medical device contracting and clinicalconsultative offerings to HealthTrust members and non-members. The VP willcontinue to develop comprehensive clinical solutions focused on reduction incare variation, cost analysis (particularly tied to physician preference itemsand custom sourcing), and value-based healthcare delivery. The VP will workclosely with the AVP, Clinical Contracting Services and the Senior Director,MDM to develop this entity as a key differentiator for HealthTrust. Thisposition will work closely with the TI team to ensure continuity with strategicbusiness objectives for internal and external stakeholders. The VP will alsofunction as a liaison to the Workforce and Supply Chain insight AdvisoryService teams. Working with the CMO, this position will help set the strategicdirection for the medical device management team within HealthTrust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all MDM consultative offerings, andin collaboration with the CMO, sets the vision and strategy for our approach toproviding clinical value to the HealthTrust membership
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of MDM AdvisoryServices to assist members with medical device utilization, standardization andcost analysis, engagement of physician and senior leaders, implementperformance improvement strategies, and drive value-based care and a clinicallyintegrated supply chain
  • Facilitate coordination and execution ofclinical contracting and custom sourcing efforts
  • Identify opportunities for contractingcategory expansion and/or custom contracting engagements
  • Promote strong client relationshipmanagement to improve client satisfaction and support HealthTrust objectives.
  • Assist HealthTrust Account Managers andBusiness Development teams in the identification of potential clients andprovide support throughout the sales process, including preparation ofproposals, scopes of work and pricing structures.
  • Develop standard data reporting to providemembers with actionable insight for clinical process improvement
  • Active participation on professional societyorganizations promoting HealthTrust’s mission and vision

Job Requirements

Education andExperience

  • Bachelor’sdegree required; healthcare, finance or accounting is preferred. Master’sdegree preferred.
  • 10 years of healthcare experience, specifically related to clinical consultingexpertise.
  • Strongunderstanding of healthcare operations, data & analytics, supply chain, andhealthcare consumerism (value-based care, provider and physician challengesetc.).
  • Clinicianexperience/certification is preferred but not required
