JOB TITLE – Warehousing & Logistics Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES – The Warehouse Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing
all warehouse operations functions including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, transportation, and inventory management.   The Warehouse Logistics Manger is also responsible for the hiring, training, orientation, supervision, and evaluation of all warehouse employees.  Inventory accuracy is the job of all warehouse associates.
SUPERVISOR – Director of Consolidated Supply Chain Operations or Market Supply Chain Director
SUPERVISES – Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Analyst, Drivers
•      Oversee all warehouse functions.
•      Assist in preparation of annual warehouse operation budget.
•      Maintain operating expenses based on an annual operating budget.
•      Interview and hire all warehouse employees.
•      Provide warehouse training to all new employees.
•      Prepare warehouse Key Performance Indicator report.
•      Ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed by the warehouse staff.
•      Assist in inventory management as needed.
•      Maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers, and other team members.
•      Ensure that all material handling and transportation equipment is properly maintained.
•      Supervise physical inventory counts during semi-annual inventory.
•      Ensure warehouse operations meet all department mandated timeframes and deadlines.
•      Prepare and conduct annual performance reviews for warehouse staff.
•      Perform other duties as assigned.

•      Policies & Procedures – articulates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
•      PC skills – demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required.
•      Financial management – applies tools and processes to successfully manage to budget.
•      Project management – assesses work activities and allocates resources appropriately.
•      Technical skills – able to operate a fork lift vehicle and a motorized pallet jack


•      High School Diploma or GED is required
•      Associates or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred


•      5 years previous warehouse operations management experience
•      Prior experience in managing a dedicated transportation fleet desired • Experience in healthcare distribution a plus


        •    Valid State Driver’s License
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS – Requires standing and walking for long periods of time. Must be able to push and pull a variety of carts and material handling equipment. Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, and reach. Requires ability to make substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers. Must be able to hear, see, and communicate through written and verbal means. Requires ability to touch and differentiate textures and temperatures. Must be able to exert up to 75 pounds of force and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Work is performed inside an office environment and a warehouse environment that has good ventilation and comfortable temperatures.
