Job Summary – ThePharmacy Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all pharmacyoperations including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping,transportation, and inventory management. The Pharmacy Logistics Supervisor isalso responsible for the hiring, training, orientation, supervision, andevaluation of all Pharmacy employees.
 
Supervisor –Warehouse and Logistics Manager (WLM)
 
Supervises –Pharmaceutical Handlers
 
Duties (included butnot limited to):
•       Oversee allpharmacy supply chain functions.
•       Maintainoperating expenses based on an annual operating budget.
•       Providetraining to all new employees.
•       Meet or exceedwarehouse Key Performance Indicators. Prepare Pharmacy Key PerformanceIndicator report.
•       Ensure that allpolicies and procedures are being followed by the staff.
•       Ensure highestlevels of Inventory accuracy are met or exceeded. Ensure highest quality andaccuracy for all pharmacy processes.
•       Maintaineffective communication with customers, co‐workers, and other team members.
•       Ensure that allmaterial handling and transportation equipment is properly maintained.
•       Supervise cycle counting process.                                      
•       Supervisephysical inventory counts during inventory process.
•       Ensure pharmacyoperations meet all department mandated timeframes and deadlines.
•       Prepare andconduct annual performance reviews for pharmacy staff.
•       Perform otherduties as assigned.
•       Practice andadhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

•       Financialmanagement – applies tools and processes to successfully manage to budget.
•       Projectmanagement – assesses work activities and allocates resources appropriately. •Technical skills – able to operate a fork lift and a motorized pallet jack
•       EDUCATION
•       High SchoolDiploma or GED is required
•       Bachelor’sdegree in Business, Supply Chain or related discipline is preferred
 
EXPERIENCE
•       Minimum 5 yearswarehouse operations management experience
•       Experience inhealthcare distribution or pharmacy a plus
•       Experienceutilizing WMS software a plus
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE
•       Valid State Driver’s License
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKINGCONDITIONS – Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping andstretching. Requires eye‐hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient tooperate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other officeequipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare andcommunicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in an office environment. Work may bestressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people.Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance forany/all disaster or emergency situations.
 
 
OSHA CATEGORY –The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues(although situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone,anywhere, might encounter potential exposure to body fluids). Persons whoperform these duties are not called upon as part of their employment to performor assist in emergency care or first aid, or to be potentially exposed in someother way.
